Canada's first LEED Gold Certified office building, the RBC Centre rises to 41-stories from a 10-story podium, the building features flexible, open-plan floorplates of 24,000 square feet. The development achieved LEED Gold status for the project's environmental sustainability and ability to produce an estimated 50% energy savings relative to buildings built to the Canadian National Energy Code.

The 10-story podium features operable windows and the tower above boasts floor-to-ceiling fenestration to enhance daylighting, while sun-shading devices and automated blinds maximize efficiencies and minimize operating expenses.

The insulated glass units (IGUs) manufactured by Multiver used Technoform's plastic hybrid stainless steel warm edge spacer in the assembly to improve the thermal performance of the IGU without sacrificing durability or design performance.
