2. Legal basis and purposes of the processing
A fast-moving industrial landscape requires new ideas and solutions every day. Markets emerge, companies change, processes change. We unfold the full potential of people and their ideas in our global network to meet today's and tomorrow's challenges.
The online platform "Wazoku" is intended to support the innovation process, which is anchored in our philosophy and principles. In Swahili, the word "Wazoku" means "great idea!"
Every employee can post problems / inquiries on the online platform in order to offer other employees the opportunity to contribute ideas.
In the platform we process the following data of employees of the Technoform Group:
- Names
- Contact details
- Divisional membership
- Contents of ideas
We process the data based on our legitimate interest in the ongoing development of the companies in the Technoform Group on the basis of ideas submitted by employees (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). The common Idea Management Platform is intended to serve these purposes.
Furthermore, data storage to prove employee inventions is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO in conjunction with §26 BDSG).
The joint responsibility of the Technoform companies is based on the fact that they jointly determine the purposes and means of data processing.
The data will not be deleted, as employee inventions must be proven and possible patent lawsuits must be fended off.
3. Organisation of processing
The platform is managed by Technoform Caprano + Brunnhofer GmbH, as it is a contractual partner of Wazoku. The responsibility for the submitted ideas, for their further processing and implementation remains with the respective Technoform company.
4. Recipients of personal data
As part of the joint responsibility, each company of the Technoform Group has access to the platform data from point 1.
In addition, we use the contract processor Wazoku Limited, based in London (Great Britain), which hosts the platform for us and can have access in case of support.
5. Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to the personal data concerning you:
- Right to information about your data stored by us and their processing
- Right to correction of incorrect data
- Right to delete your data stored by us
- Right to restrict processing, provided that we are not yet allowed to delete your data due to legal obligations
- Right to oppose the processing of your data by us
- Right to data transferability, provided that the data processing is based on your permission or you have signed a contract with us
If you have given us your consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future.
The easiest way to assert your rights is to contact your employer (for contact details see point 1).
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
6. Validity and modification of this privacy policy
This privacy policy is actually valid (see status in the headline). It may become necessary to modify this data protection declaration due to the further development of our offers or due to changes in legal or official regulations.
