Compliance with data protection regulations and the protection of your personal data are very important to us. We would therefore like to inform you about the way that we process your personal data within the context of the application procedure and your rights as a data subject:

Categories of data processed
We process the personal data provided by you as part of the application procedure. These include in particular your personal details (name, date of birth, nationality and marital status), your contact details (private address, e-mail address and telephone number), your qualifications and other data such as your application photographs.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
The personal data provided by you in connection with your application will only be processed for the purposes of processing your application and subsequently assigning a position. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1b) of the GDPR in conjunction with § 26(1) of the Federal Data Protection Act.
Recipients of your personal data
Within our company, access to your personal data is only granted to those persons involved in the process who are responsible for the preparation and execution of the relevant application process.
Transmission of your personal data to a non-EU country or an international organization
Your personal data will not be transmitted to any company in a third country or to an international organization.
Storage period for your personal data
Firstly, your personal data will only be processed by us for the duration of the application procedure. If the procedure results in the conclusion of an employment relationship, then your personal data will be added to your personnel file first of all where it will be stored in accordance with the rules that apply to personnel files. Otherwise, the application process will end when you receive notification that you have been unsuccessful. Your personal data will be deleted at the latest 3 months after receipt of that notification. This will not apply if the processing and storage of your personal data are necessary in a specific case for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (for the duration of legal proceedings). If you send us your written declaration of consent regarding the storage of your application documents for a further 12 months, we will store them in a secure folder and delete them at the end of the 12-month period.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information regarding your personal data. You can also request the correction of incorrect data.
Subject to certain prerequisites, you also have the right to have data deleted, the right to request the restriction of data processing and the right to data portability.
The processing of your data is carried out based on statutory regulations. We only require your consent in exceptional cases. In such cases, you have the right to revoke your consent regarding future processing.
You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with the GDPR.
