Harris Square
The last building of Toronto's River City complex is a condominium and retail project is designed as a series of rotating pentagonal panels that reflect the five sides of Harris Square, after which it is named. This LEED Gold project takes advantage of advancements in window wall and curtain wall technology to help meet sustainability requirements. In order to achieve the desired thermal performance criteria Technoform's polyamide insulation profile was used in the fenestration system. While keeping mechanical performance at the highest level, incorporating Technoform's polyamide profile prevents the direct exchange of heat and cold, creating what is known as "thermal break".
